About

Not a pastor.
A steward.

I needed a model that didn't exist. So, with an open Bible and godly help, I built it.

I'm Andrew Leyland — a husband, a father, and a marketplace guy from Ontario, Canada. I run businesses in SEO and AI, I've carried a sales territory, and I know exactly what it feels like to crush it at everything that shows up on a scoreboard while the things I'd actually vowed to keep ran on fumes.

That's the season this framework came from. Not a study, not a summit — a rung that was breaking under my feet. I went looking for a model that could tell me not just what mattered but in what order, and why, and what to do on a Tuesday about it. I found goal systems with no theology, theology with no operating system, and priority lists that collapsed the moment two priorities collided in the same evening. The model I needed didn't exist.

So I built the Stewardship Ladder — six entrusted rungs, in order, with rhythms that compound and an audit question that tells the truth. I'm not offering it as a man who has mastered it. I'm offering it as a man it is currently holding.

If you're a pastor or men's leader wondering whether your guys need another speaker: they don't. They need an operating system built by someone who lives where they live — deadlines, kids' practices, a marriage worth fighting for — and who will hand them a page they can start filling in tonight. That's what the talk does, and that's what the book is.

"Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful." — 1 Corinthians 4:2
